Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
