TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
