TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
